FC1-QOPU passport reader
The FC1-QOPU passport reader scans passports in the blink of an eye.
With the FC1 Passport Scanner from DENSO WAVE, long waiting times and the inconvenience of capturing passport data at reception desks are a thing of the past. Simply place the passport on the scanning surface and the relevant data is captured. Both text characters and image data are read in a single step, which contributes significantly to acceleration. 1D and 2D codes are also supported.

All-round scanning performance: multiple reading functions
The FC1-QOPU passport reader is capable of capturing MRZ and image data in a single step. This significantly speeds up passport scanning and simplifies operation even for beginners. In addition, 2D codes and 1D codes can be read in both printed and digital variants.
Command control
Lets the user control the reader from another device, such as a computer. For example, a scan can be manually initiated by the user at the host device or the software version of the reader can be checked.
Automatic error detection
If, when scanning an MRZ, a character could not be correctly recognized due to dirt or other degradation, the system generates a corresponding notification. The incorrectly detected location can be corrected manually by the user.
Auto-Sense Mode
The passport reader automatically switches from standby to reading mode when it detects a code within reading range.
Simple programming
Various functions can be controlled by simple programming (ADF Script) to extend the applications of the FC1-QOPU scanner.

The FC1-QOPU scanner for passports has a SCAN button and a MODE button on top. These buttons can be used to manually initiate the reading process and change the reading mode.
