SF1 Wearable Scanner
With the SF1 wearable scanner, users have both hands free for other tasks.
The SF1 Wearable Scanner from DENSO WAVE is a combination of ultra-light scanner unit and hand cuff with integrated and wirelessly connected trigger. It makes scanning even more comfortable and faster. Thanks to its innovative design, users can wear the wearable scanner on their wrist and operate it comfortably with their thumb. A gentle press with the thumb on the integrated button in the glove and the scanner is triggered wirelessly. This leaves both hands free to work, which increases both efficiency and work safety.

Completely wireless.
Scanner and trigger are wirelessly networked thanks to new switching technology. One press of the thumb on the integrated button in the glove and the SF1 wearable scanner is triggered wirelessly.
Flexible design for flexible conditions - from wearable to handheld.
If the situation requires it, the SF1 Wearable Scanner can also be easily removed from the wrist cuff and operated via the built-in touch sensor. This turns the smart wearable into a classic handheld. The scanner unit is barely larger than the remote control: compact technology for flexible use.
Super-light scanner unit.
At just 80 g, the SF1 is one of the lightest scanners in the industry. While comparable ring scanners require the weight of the scanning unit to be borne entirely by the finger, the light weight of the SF1 wearable scanner is distributed comfortably over the entire back of the hand. As a result, the SF1 enables fatigue-free data capture on a piecework basis that is easy on the hand.
Extremely rugged.
DENSO Auto-ID products are designed for a long product life cycle. That's why the SF1's housing incorporates a magnesium frame. The material was chosen wisely by DENSO's product developers: because while the frame gives the SF1 wearable scanner DENSO's signature ruggedness, it's light enough not to weigh it down.

Whether AndroidTM or iOS, the SF1 Wearable Scanner connects easily to other devices via HID (Human Interface Device) or SPP (Serial Port Profile).
Top reading performance.
Thanks to a special scanning algorithm, the SF1 Wearable Scanner has excellent reading performance. 1D and 2D codes are scanned omnidirectionally at top speed. The SF1 Wearable Scanner can also reliably scan damaged codes. Thanks to unique LED illumination control, codes can be quickly read and captured even from displays.
Pinpoint scanning or multi-scan.
The SF1 Wearable Scanner captures individual codes specifically, even when there are multiple codes in the reading area. Unnecessary repetitions of incorrect scans are thus avoided. If required, the SF1 can also read up to three barcodes at once, thus reducing working time - including scanning of multiple linked QR codes.
Read confirmation.
Intuitive scanning even under difficult conditions: an integrated vibration alarm and LEDs serve as confirmation of successful scans.
Waterproof and washable base element.
The base element of the hand cuff is made of a sweat-absorbing material and can be cleaned by hand. For comfortable and hygienic work.
