The all-in-one RFID reader from the UR40 series is ideal for the harsh conditions in warehouse environments thanks to its robustness. Thanks to expansion antennas that can be easily connected to the RFID scanner, the reading range can also be configured according to individual requirements on site. Its high scan performance of 700 tags read per second * rounds off the profile of this stationary RFID reader.

Very robust
The UR40's excellent resistance to environmental influences, such as dust and water, is certified to IP65. In addition, the UR40 has UL61010 certification. Moreover, the die-cast aluminum rear housing not only gives the reader extra-high durability, but also dissipates heat excellently, resulting in stable and constant high-performance operation.
High Scan Performance
With 700 RFID tags read per second *, DENSO WAVE's UR40 RFID reader is among the fastest in the industry. Switching the antenna polarization between circular and linear also enables high read range and better RF isolation to neighboring RFID readers. Adding up to three extension antennas also allows for different gate configurations.

The UR40 supports Ethernet, USB as well as RS-232C interfaces. GPIOs (general purpose inputs and outputs) are also available for connection to sensors and lamps, for example. The UR40 is also supported by the ORiN IoT platform for easy integration into smart factory solutions.
