Zone-D Laser Sensor
Intelligent property protection: the Zone-D laser sensor precisely detects the position of moving objects.
Thanks to the latest DENSO technology, it is possible to reliably secure grounds of all kinds in a networked manner. Thanks to the Zone-D Lase Sensor. Unlike linear sensors or photoelectric sensors, which work from point to point, Zone-D scans entire surfaces (2D scan), making it more difficult for unwanted intruders to remain undetected. Connected with other equipment for property security, such as PTZ cameras, lights or sirens, Zone-D is able to send signals to the networked equipment and activate it when a detection is made.
But the Zone-D laser sensor is not only ideal for protection against unwanted intruders: as already successfully demonstrated in many places in Japan, it guards critical areas such as railroad crossings or subway stations and thus contributes to the safety of people.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Reliable under any lighting conditions
It almost can't be too dark or too bright for the Zone-D laser sensor. Both in dark lighting conditions and at brightness levels of up to 100,000 lux, Zone-D reliably and precisely detects the position of moving objects where most cameras would reach their limits. Even rain and fog are no problem for the laser sensor thanks to modern DENSO technology.
Intelligent networking
Equipped with an ONFIV compatible interface, the Zone-D area sensor can be connected to cameras for automatic tracking of detected objects. 3 normally open and 2 normally closed contacts also allow external devices, such as lights or sirens, to be activated when an object is detected. If desired, the networked security equipment can also be activated with a time delay.
Avoiding false alarms
The Zone-D laser sensor is able to distinguish between people, cars and other objects. Thanks to this filter function, false alarms that could be caused by birds, small animals, branches or leaves, for example, are reduced.
Versatile use
The areas of application for the Zone-D Laser Sensor are practically limitless. Whether for guarding cars at car dealerships, preventing illegal and hazardous activities at water reservoirs, or as an alarm system for railroad crossings, the Zone-D detects moving objects with precision and communicates with networked devices as required for the specific application.
Scanner
Sensor area : 60m x 30m (reflection rate: 10%). Attention: The sensor range may change due to the reflection rate of the object.
Distance resolution : 20cm
Angle resolution : 0.25 degree
Number of configurable zones : 3 zones for stationary objects, 6 zones for moving objects and 4 virtual trip wires
Auto tracking function : Yes (ZD-LS111-H) ; No (ZD-LS111-M)
