DENSO Auto-ID Business Unit has a new General Manager: Since 6th of February, Keiichi Yamazaki has replaced Shingo Nii.
Shingo Nii has been General Manager for the last six years. All employees value Mr Nii not only as highly competent General Manager but also as a great boss. When we asked Mr Nii what he most appreciated during his time here in Europe, he was unable to limit it to just one issue. “Everyday I experienced something so different than what I would have in Japan. I really “felt” Europe. And I am so happy to have had wonderful colleagues and customers.” Mr Nii is leaving mid-February for Japan. He will then be responsible for the overseas sales section at the DENSO WAVE’s headquarters. “Of course, the great advantage for this new job is what I experienced here in Europe. I would like to contribute to further expand the European sales even more.”
Keiichi Yamazaki, Mr Nii’s successor, is already 18 years in the Auto-ID business, during which he spent three years working in China. To our question, what he is expecting from his task as General Manager now, Mr Yamazaki replied: “I am happy to work in Europe with its long history and traditions. I am glad to be able to offer our European customers the best service and products and to have the opportunity to catch the latest market trends. It is my personal pleasure to help achieve some kind of contribution to society – what we do with our Auto-ID products which are used in so many different industries.”
We would like to thank Mr Nii on behalf of the whole company and wish him all the best for the future.
We therefore would like to warmly welcome Mr Yamazaki and we look forward to a mutual long-term cooperation and to spending time with him.
