With the GT20QD model, we extended our popular GT20 series. The new scanner combines all the popular features of the existing series but will also have new technical features for mobile data capture. All the devices in the GT20 series are distinguished above all by their ruggedness and their high reliable scanning features. Even at temperatures between -20 and +50 degrees Celsius, the devices capture barcodes and QR Codes® at maximum speed. While the tried and tested GT20 scanner is ideally suited for codes printed on paper or shown on a display, our DPM scanner can read direct part marking codes on metal surfaces. Whether barcodes or QR Codes® are scanned does not make any difference. Even the smallest micro codes can be recorded. "Micro codes are used, for example, in the health sector to identify surgical instruments. Special algorithms ensure that even illegible direct part marking codes can still be accurately captured by the GT20QD," explains Marketing Assistant Sina Haupt.
In addition to the innovative technical features for mobile data capture, the exterior of the scanner has been adapted to suit any rough conditions found in different types of work environments as well: The GT20QD model can withstand multiple falls from a height of up to two meters. Also the quality of the casing used for the GT20Q is remarkable: It is especially oil and fat resistant, which means that the scanner can be operated without problems even with oily hands. "We are delighted to have launched our new DPM scanner GT20QD, which is excellent and meets even the highest requirements of the market today", says Haupt.
